This is a compilation of design work developed during my time as art director for the YouTube channel “Ciência Todo Dia” (in literal translation "Science Every Day").
The idea of creating simple, straightforward visuals for dense and complex topics was a major challenge in all the videos, but by using visual elements inspired by a mix of collage, documentary aesthetics, and contemporary graphic design, we created an accessible visual language and a striking identity.
Another feature used alongside the aesthetic was the use of humor in certain scenes, incorporating viral memes, unexpected elements, and even a caricatured version of the host inserted into the scenes, sometimes as a character and other times as the face of well-known historical figures.
I was responsible for many videos over the course of a year and a half, and below I’ve created a gallery of what I consider to be the most interesting shots.
